The front cylindrical lens element can widen the horizontal field of view 1.33 times and squeezes more image onto the sensor, which contributes to a HD 2.4:1 cinematic widescreen look. Compared to the 50mm and 35mm anamorphic lenses, the 24mm anamorphic

Opening the aperture wide allows more light to enter the sensor and creates a dreamy shallow depth of field. Closing the aperture creates a deep focus of the entire scene.   The iris is De-clicked for smooth changes
