The Godox GR30 30° G-Mount Photography Reflector is designed for use with the Godox MG1200Bi LED light system. Thanks to its narrower beam angle of 30°, it throws light over longer distances, ideal for illuminating a small area of a large set. Unlike using a Standard Spill-Kill reflector with a 30° honeycomb grid, (which absorbs some of the light), this reflector focuses the light, increasing its effective light output and reach. The Knowled GR30 is great for large film, television, and theatrical productions.

If you have ever needed a tight beam of light previously, you would generally use a standard reflector in conjunction with a honeycomb grid. The disadvantage of using a grid is that you lose a bit of light, compared to using the reflector by itself. The  30 ° G-Mount Reflector naturally produces a 30° beam of light, which negates the need for a grid, so you don’t have to worry about losing any light output.
